SMART's implementation services ensure a smooth delivery of your SMART eHL solution and maximum return on investment. Using the SMARTStart methodology based upon 'Prince 2' concepts, SMART's dedicated NHS consultancy Teams operate a staged approach to the project lifecycle against agreed deliverables.

From initial analysis and design through to testing and rollout, SMART work in partnership with each Trust to deliver value across the entire organisation. Where appropriate, SMARTStart is aligned to the ESR implementation process.

Design, build and roll out of customised interfaces

SMART’s Business Integration team deliver customised integration to third party and other external systems using an array of SMART Tools that simplify the process. The integration team is responsible for the continued support of the bi-directional ESR interfaces that already exist, ensuring adherence to current service level agreements.

SMART's Business Integration team will:

• Analyse your existing internal/external systems and the type and flow of data around your organisation
• Develop a unique strategy and processes based on your specific business, as well as technology, environment. No two SMART solutions are ever the same, even for two sites for the same customer
• Design and build the desired interfaces; taking into account functional, technical and file specifications, as well as your strategic requirements and business processes
• Manage the deployment, including post-roll out support
